Wow...

Whew! I still can't believe it's approved.

There was this manuscript that I was supposed to pass last August pa. I really wanted to right it na, but my drive vanished into thin air. May manuscripts akong inuna na hindi ko kasi maalis sa isip ko. September came and na-pressure na talaga ako. I tried writing the story na kahit hindi ko feel ang mga scenes. Eh dahil hindi ko talaga gusto, I stopped writing it and I started another manuscript na lang. No'ng nagpunta ako sa office last October, my editor asked me: "Wala na bang kasunod?"

Oh my gulay! Lalo akong na-pressure. Nanood ako ng sandamakmak na anime at nagbasa ng manga sa desperasyon kong maka-quota ng kilig. Eh nawili ako sa kakanood na wala naman akong naisulat. Until I watched this certain music video. I got really inspired, kaya nasulat ko ang manuscript in three days. Mabilis kasi ginamit ko rin ung ilang scene na okay naman dun sa nauna.

Pero I was worried pa rin kasi 32k uli siya, at ang dami niyang conflict. Iniisip ko na baka may loopholes na makita dahil ako nga mismo, naguluhan sa mga pinagsususulat ko. In-e-expect ko na lang talagang for revision siya kaya nga binasa ko uli siya, para alam ko na gagawin ko if ever ngang revise siya. For me rin kasi, hindi siya sing ganda nung mga nauna. I even think the story is lame, though there is a certain scene there that made me pound my table with my hands because it was kinda "nakakakilig." Awts. I didn't mean to brag about it. Gomen.

And yesterday, habang nagsa-sound trip ako sa labas ng bahay, I received a text from my editor saying that my manuscript is approved. I was shocked because I didn't expect it to be straight A. At hindi pinabawasan ang word count. God, thank You. Ayun lang talaga nasabi ko, salamat.
